January 2008: Volunteer for RESS

RESS is looking for volunteers to assist in the following positions:

Challenge Class Sponsors – This is a fantastic way to support RESS. A member can host a challenge at a live show, as a stand alone event, in conjunction with a workshop, or any other opportunity where artists might come together. There is a packet of information to get you started on the website. RESS will supply the awards, we just need to members to get them organized.

Authors for BOAT Contributions – The BOAT is always in need of more articles. Take us on a tour of your studio, share with us some of your neatest tricks, give us a book report of that neat conformation book you picked up, maybe a report from a seminar you attended. How about business savvy you could share, or marketing advice? Have you started your own business, what steps did you take? Detail the creation of that sculpture you working on, provide us with photography how-to, or camera selection for digital images. There are so many areas that someone else could benefit from, take a moment and write an article for publication.

MOMs for RESS Exhibitions – The 2008 Clinkie Custom Glaze Finishwork needs a MOM and we need MOMs for the 2009 Bas Reliefk, AR Finishwork, and Sculpture Exhibitions.

Contact: The RESS Executive Director, Cheryl Farrens, RESSTreasurer@aol.com or treasurer@ress.org
